 About Pachamama:

While I was doing yoga in the  field yesterday I  witnessed the breeze creating waves across the wheatgrass field  as if I was on island in a golden  green sea… I heard Mother Earth and her sigh of relief. I saw the unpolluted sky above me and I heard the birds chirping instead of traffic. How ironic that this horrible pandemic that takes the breath from us, gives that exact breath back to Mother Earth. I saw, in the painting, a crack- as if an earthquake had  violently broken through the thick outer crust of this world- our neon-lit artificial planet smothered in concrete and buildings, makeup and plastic, revealing Mother Earth below. For the first time the water is running clear and nature is returning… When the world restores to normalcy, can it be a new norm? Can we live more harmoniously with nature and Pachamama? Does the planet have to wait for a pandemic in order to heal?
